I know there is someone in this class doing Arrested Development, but here were my first concept sketches. I also was thinking about doing a special edition DVD collection of David Lynch's greatest movies. I was probably going to include Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and Fire Walk With Me, which are my favorites.
I like the idea of a family album for Arrested Development. Each disc can be made to look like a family picture. Maybe the pictures can be dated from year to year. For example, disc one would be them younger and not annoyed of each other. Disc two can be them slightly older and disgruntled at each other. Hopefully there are photos available like this. The Blue Velvet dvd set looks good. Is the case going to be lined with blue velvet? Maybe each movie can be made of elements that correspond with the title. Mulholland Drive can look like the actual Mulholland Drive. Fire Walk With Me can look like a fireplace or actual fire? I have not seen the movies but maybe there can be some imagery or textures to match the title.
